I love a good liner note on physical CD's so I thought I'd write a few words about this album you can read while you listen if you chose. Inspired by the Roger Smith method, I recorded 'Seven' over two days in the early morning, using just my epiphone zenith and a single microphone into logic. I saw the 2020 lockdown as a chance to develop my playing, and work on the things I'd been neglecting now having no excuses and a lot of free time. I see 'Seven' as the culmination of that process. A statement of where I am now, and where I'm going. This is not the finished product, just a chapter on the road to where I want to be as a musician.
